Houston TX, December 2020: Kinetic Pressure Control is pleased to announce that it has delivered the first set of equipment out of a group of commercial orders for their 18-15M K-BOS technology. The equipment has been delivered as part of a service provided by Kinetic together with their partner and key customer, Transocean. Following installation onto an ultra-deep-water drillship, this equipment will be used on a deep water well in the US Gulf of Mexico.

“This marks the first of many 18-15M K-BOS deliveries as we advance commercial dialogues in the key operational theatres across the globe for subsea and surface drilling, completions, and interventions. Together with our partners, we are proud to provide this multiple-orders-of-magnitude increase in well control capability; practically eliminating our customer’s primary Enterprise Risk, a surface blowout,” said Bobby Gallagher CEO for Kinetic Pressure Control.
