Houston TX: The team at Kinetic Pressure Control is very pleased to announce the delivery of yet another K-BOS system to our growing rental fleet. The system is currently on firm contract and is in mobilization. At time of writing, Kinetic has 5 additional 18-3/4″ 15,000 psi K-BOS units on order to complement our growing fleet and global footprint.
This particular unit has been configured for surface drilling applications in offshore environments and meets the following specifications:
- 18-3/4″ 15,000 psi K-BOS at 250F
- Qualified to shear and seal.
- Certified to meet DNVGL-OS-E101
- Compatible with up to 20% H2S wellbore fluids at 250F (per NACE TM1087)
- No planned maintenance during 5 years in service.
